Mind Body Spirit Package

Our reasons for turning to Reiki vary from person to person. For some, it is simple curiosity, while others feel frustrated by their mental and physical health issues or burdened by personal challenges such as grief or addiction. Many come to Reiki because they see it as spiritual in nature.

What I love about Reiki is it works on the level that you need most. Some people feel uncomfortable about the word ‘spiritual’, and that’s fine, but if Reiki can provide you with peace and relaxation even at its most basic level then your emotions and physical body will have benefited from Reiki.

The Mind Body Spirit package provides a holistic approach to your mental, physical and spiritual health and allows you to take responsibility for your own healing. Even without the spiritual aspect, our bodies are awe-inspiring. It knows how to heal itself, though sometimes we need to remember how to tap into that healing.

Duration of treatment – 1 hour 30 minutes

Price – $150

Payment options – Paypal and Electronic Transfer payments in advance or Cash on the day. Cards are not accepted at this time.

Consultation
We will begin with a short consultation which will allow us to get to know each other. I like to have an understanding of what your expectations are and whether you have ever had a Reiki treatment before. It is also useful to have an understanding of any existing medical conditions or if you wish to share, any personal challenges you are facing. I abide by a strict code of ethics so please be reassured that everything we discuss is in the strictest confidence. During your consultation, you will be offered water to ensure you keep hydrated.

Hand Positioning/Placement
I then explain what to expect in your Reiki session. Most practitioners will give you the choice of hands-on or hands-off treatment, however, I feel most effective with my hands just above your body. If I feel the need for hands-on I will ask your permission beforehand.

Crystals
If you are receiving the complete Mind, Body, Spirit healing experience I generally combine crystals with the Reiki energy. I believe they add a real ‘deep cleanse’ to the Reiki process, however, they are a separate modality and not needed to make Reiki ‘work’. Again, I will ask permission before I place crystals on your body over your energy centres (Chakras). If you are uncomfortable with this, the crystals may be placed to the side of your body. That’s perfectly fine too. If you would prefer not to use crystals at all, please do let me know.

Relax
I will then ask you to lie or sit on the treatment couch (full clothed) and close your eyes. Once I’ve started the treatment some clients will express their thoughts, things they see, or the sensations they feel as the energy moves. Many clients find they drift off to sleep during the treatment. There is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki – that’s one of the many beautiful things about it.

Closing Ceremony
As we come to the end of your session, I will work through a simple closing ceremony to ensure all negativity is released. Once I have closed, I will gently wake you, or bring you back to the room by laying my hands on your ankles or shoulders. This is a simple act to ensure you are grounded again and don’t feel too spacey when you leave the sanctuary of the Reiki room.

Tea
Before you go on your way back into the world, we will finish with a cup of tea (or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice) and a talk through your experiences. It can be quite an eye opener if you are new to Reiki so you may have lots of questions you want to ask.

At the very least you will experience a deep state of calm and peace. If you are experiencing health issues, the release of stress and tension will certainly promote healing and wellbeing.
